WE ARE WOMEN WITH A PURPOSE
“The organized unit of United Women in Faith is a community of women whose PURPOSE is to
know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a
creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the
global ministries of the church.”
WE ARE FAITH ♦ HOPE ♦ LOVE IN ACTION
United Women in Faith believe that through our prayers and support we can make a difference in
missions near and far. Through our ministry we support each other, our church, our community
and beyond. We have found that serving is a wonderful, fulfilling experience.
You are invited to be a valued part of this ministry.
YOU
really can help make a difference!

ACTIVITIES and PROJECTS
PIE SALES
CHRISTMAS COOKIE BAKE SALE
PIE SALES
- Our unit’s main fundraiser is selling frozen pies.
- P.A.C.T. (Pie Assembly Certified Technicians) meet throughout the year to make pies.
- Our group makes over 200 cherry, rhubarb, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb and apple pies each year.
- Your support (making and buying them) is greatly appreciated.
CHRISTMAS COOKIE BAKE SALE
- Is held the first Saturday in December each year from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the parlor.
- A variety of cookies are made by the women of the church, packaged in 1# containers and sold for $15 each. Coffee cakes, breads and other baked goods are also for sale.
- In 2022, our 8th sale, we made $2110, our largest amount so far. With this money we continue to support the various organizations listed above, plus we have donated to the church organ fund, the boiler fund, purchased a new rug for the parlor, and bought a stove for the little kitchen. We will continue to work for our church and for others who need our help, both in our area and around the world.
